Highlights

• AEM surveys extended to include Core’s copper targets at the Virginia Prospect and Copper Royals prior to drilling this quarter

• Surveys underway to better define conductive drill targets

• Preliminary EM results expected in 2-4 weeks

• Drilling anticipated to commence as soon as results are received

At least nine separate copper prospects, which include targets at Copper Queen and Copper King, are being tested by this AEM survey in the Copper Royals district.

In addition, the AEM surveys will cover the copper mineralised zone at Virginia, which outcrops for over 1.5 km of strike. 75 rock – chip sampling assays average 2.4% copper (up to 34.0% copper) at surface within the outcropping stratiform copper horizon.

Core has recently been utilising the high – powered VTEM Super Max AEM system successfully, with the aim to define drill targets on its tenements adjacent to KGL’s copper resource at Jervois, also in the east Arunta.

Core has noted KGL’s recent success using electromagnetics (EM) on their neighbouring ground to map mineralised conductors beyond known resources and at depth at Jervois. Along with Rox Resources Ltd’s (ASX:RXL) use of EM and recent substantial copper intersections in the east Arunta, the recent exploration success in the area has been strong.

This additional AEM survey will assist Core in refining the location of drill holes for the upcoming drilling programs which are expected to be approved in coming weeks and commence soon after.
