Under the contract, Cylingas will design, fabricate, install, inspect, test, paint and commission 19 above-ground tanks and associated piping system within the new refinery terminal and the connecting pipelines to the jetty.

The refinery, which will have a processing capacity of 7,500 bpd, comprises a storage tank terminal with a capacity of 91,000 cubic meters.

Cylingas executive director Saif Al Falasi said the contract complements Cylingas’ growth strategy to expand operations across the region by offering high-end solutions.

"The contract underlines the competencies of Cylingas to undertake large-scale projects that demand extensive mechanical and piping work," Falasi added.

Cylingas general manager Raed Ali said, "In line with the expansion strategy of ENOC, we are also focusing on further strengthening our operations by partnering on projects by third-party operators."

Pyramid Engineering managing director Ashish Bajpal said Cylingas assists Pyramid Engineering’s aim to develop a modern refinery and associated systems.

"The modular refinery in Fujairah further builds on the Emirate’s reputation as one of the fastest growing global hubs," Bajpal added.

Cylingas will undertake the mechanical as well as piping requirements which include residual engineering design, procurement, safe storage, fabrication, inspection, painting and surface preparation, insulation, testing and commissioning of piping systems and pipeline.

Additionally, Cylingas will undertake associated work including setting up free issue mechanical equipment, vessels, positive displacement, centrifugal pumps and loading arms.
