The company is seeking proposals for coal delivery for quantities up to two million tons, with delivery beginning January 2012 through December 2013.
Proposals with alternative quantities will be considered, and the company said it is interested in offers for all types of coal.
Dayton Power and Light is the principal subsidiary of regional energy company DPL.
