The property features five claims totaling 25,351ha along the southern margin of the Athabasca Basin, situated between 18km and 38km due west of Fission Uranium’s Patterson Lake South uranium discovery.

It is also located around 25km southwest of the Shea Creek uranium deposits.

Declan said historic exploration for uranium in the greater region surrounding the property included a lake sediment survey, with more than 300 samples were collected within the southwestern part of the Athabasca Basin and outlying basement regions in 1978.

The company claimed that highest uranium value detected (21 ppm) found on the property, which was not explored until 2006 when Titan Uranium undertook a regional MEGATEM survey on a portion.

A ground gravity survey was carried out on the property by Declan In the first quarter of this year.

The company surveyed a total of 13.90 line – km to further identify areas with earlier discovered linear magnetic trends or exploration corridors.

The program also focused on identifying low gravity anomalies, which can be related with uranium mineralization.

Declan Resources president and CEO David Miller states "Successful exploratory work at Davidson River continually demonstrates that the Property exhibits several key elements that are fundamental to unconformity-style uranium mineralization, such as linear magnetics with conductors, cross-cut structures identified by gravimerty and uranium geochemical anomalies.

"Declan will use the latest data in conjunction with historical work to further develop this highly prospective Property."
