Under terms of the sale, A&N Electric will acquire all of Delmarva Power’s distribution assets as well as other related assets in Virginia. Delmarva Power will continue to own and operate the 138kV and 69kV transmission lines near the Maryland and Virginia border.

Old Dominion Electric will own and operate the remainder of the Virginia transmission assets. Conectiv Energy will continue to own and operate the generation facilities located in Bayview and Tasley.

During the transition process over the last few months, we worked with A&N Electric Cooperative and Old Dominion Electric Cooperative to ensure that Virginia customers continue to receive the safe and reliable electric service they have come to expect.
