This program is one of six drill programs the company has planned this winter in the Athabasca Basin.

The Wheeler River joint venture has approved a C$6.8m ($6.72m) budget for 2012 that will include 28,000m of drilling in about 60 holes.

The focus of the program will be: definition drilling in Zone A, in particular the Zone A Extension; definition drilling in Zone B; as well as, testing various regional targets identified based on historic drilling and geophysics.

Denison operates the Wheeler River project with a 60% interest, and its project partners are Cameco Corp (30%) and JCU (Canada) Exploration Co (10%).
