The Arlington #1 gathering station, the first gathering station located within the city limits of Arlington, is expected to accommodate a total of 37,800 horsepower of compression by the end of 2010.
Together with a smaller gathering station located in Dalworthington Gardens, DFW’s gathering system will have the capacity to transport approximately 500 million cubic feet of gas per day by the end of 2010, according to the company.
In addition, DFW has also acquired additional pipeline assets from a subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy, which include a 6.5 mile high pressure pipeline that will connect DFW’s gathering system into Enterprise Products Partners’ Trinity River Lateral.
