The finalized loan guarantee, together with an investment by the Yale University Endowment, will support the Record Hill wind power project located near the town of Roxbury in Oxford County.
The power project includes a 50.6MW wind plant, an eight mile transmission line and associated interconnection equipment.
Wagner Wind Energy of New Hampshire and Independence Wind of Maine are developing and managing the wind power project, that will provide sustainable power to the state.
The Record Hill project will consist of 22 wind turbines and new transmission lines to interconnect with Central Maine Power, the local utility.
