The company in partnership with various operators will commence drilling on the well which includes offsetting, SandRidge-Puffinbarger No. 1-28H well in Alfalfa County, which tested 2,446 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 1,092 MCFD.

Doxa Energy owns 20% interest in approximately 18,400 acres located in Alfalfa, Grant, Garfield and Kay counties, Oklahoma.

The company expects to participate in 300-400 wells during the life of the play.

Six wells in Doxa’s acreage have already been drilled and are in varying stages of production and development.

Three wells have been completed and are currently producing; initial flow back results indicate gross average peak rates per well of 223 barrels of oil (BOPD) and 1,008 MCF of natural gas per day (MCFGD), or 391 barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD).

SandRidge Exploration and Production owns 4% working interest in each of these three wells and is the operator of two wells while Panther Energy operates one well.

Three additional wells operated by Chesapeake Operating, Eagle Energy Production and Cisco Operating in which Doxa owns 3% working interest have been drilled and are in various stages of completion or pre-production.

Production will commence within 2-4 weeks.

Doxa Energy said drilling operations will be complete in two weeks at a well currently being drilled by SandRidge in Grant County.

The company is participating for a 5% working interest in one well.
