The production has begun from the PEL 91 joint venture’s oil field after the initial commissioning of production facilities, and is expected to increase to about 2000bpd following full commissioning of the Bauer production facilities and completion of crude assay testing.

The oil production is being exported through trucks to the Moomba Crude Oil terminal while the joint venture has agreed to build an export pipeline from the Bauer Facility to the Lycium oil hub.

Construction work of the pipeline is expected to commence later in 2012 with operation anticipated by the end of 2012, until then the oil will be trucked.

Upon the completion of the pipeline, oil production is expected to rise to 5,000 bdd.

The PEL 91 joint venture includes Drillsearch with a 60% stake and Beach Energy as the operator with the remaining 40%.
