The company commissioned the 125.6MW Tyler Bluff and 174MW Salt Fark wind farms in northern Texas, the 225MW Great Western wind park in Oklahoma and the 184MW Kelly Creek wind farm in Illinois.
EDF EN has a 96MW power purchase agreement (PPA) with Procter & Gamble involving the Tyler Bluff facility.
Google is buying the Great Western project’s output to supply renewable electricity to a nearby data centre.
Salesforce entered into a PPA covering part of the energy generated by the Salt Fork project (24MW).
Meanwhile, EDF EN has signed a 20-year PPA with Marin Clean Energy for the output of the 150MW Desert Harvest solar plant in southern California.
The company intends to double its renewable energy capacity by 2030. Last year, it secured 351MW of large-scale solar projects in Mexico and in the US. They are anticipated to be completed by 2019.
The company plans to expand in the distributed market with Grosolar, a company which it acquired in April last year.
EDF EN has a portfolio of over 9GW gross installed capacity focused for the most part on onshore and offshore wind and solar photovoltaic energy.
