Located in Beaver County, the Balko Wind project features 162 GE 1.85-87 wind turbines.

Under the accord, EDF will provide a full spectrum of project management, oversight, and administration functions to optimize lifecycle performance and project profitability.

EDF will also be responsible for balance-of-plant services for the project’s wind turbine generators, including remote services performed by the company’s NERC-registered Operations Control Center (OCC).

Apex Clean Energy had developed the project and sold to an affiliate of DESRI in late 2014.

Power generated from the facility will be delivered to the Public Service Company of Oklahoma and Western Farmers Electric Cooperative.

EDF Renewable Services Business Development director Dalen Copeland: "We are pleased to work with DESRI to manage the Balko project and its commercial agreements to optimize returns for our customer."

EDF Renewable Services operates over 9.3GW of wind, solar, and biomass projects located across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
