Mr Vergerio will replace Michel Cremieux, who held this post for the past three years. Prior to joining Edison, Mr Vergerio served for four years as CEO of Fenice, an Italian company owned by the EDF Group and involved in the provision of eco-energy and cogeneration services to industrial clients.
Mr Vergerio began his career at the EDF Group in 1975, working at the electric power transmission and dispatching department, and later moving to the international department. In 1993, he was transferred to Lebanon to lead a project awarded to EDF for the reconstruction of the country’s electrical system.
