For the completion of the CREZ projects, ETT has executed master agreements with three construction firms, the Quanta Services, MYR Group and TIC Holdings to provide for transmission and infrastructure services.

According to the terms of the master agreements, the three companies will be responsible for the construction of a total of 450 miles of transmission lines and facilities.

The company has also contracted URS as the programme manager for the CREZ projects.

ETT President Calvin Crowder said that establishing this master agreement ensures the resources will be available to begin these important transmission projects as rights-of-way are secured.

The company has received the approval from PUCT for the required certificates of convenience and necessity with respect to the CREZ projects and expects to acquire the of rights-of-way from property owners over the next 18 months.

ETT is a joint venture company formed between subsidiaries of American Electric Power and MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company.
