The company will deliver Fisher control valves to be used in Saudi Electricity Company’s (SEC’s) Rabigh Power Plant No.2 project.
Doosan Heavy Industries is the EPC contractor for the project which is scheduled to commence operation by 2014.
Emerson will supply 670 Fisher control valves for boiler, turbine gas, multi-stage flash desalination, and selective catalytic reduction applications as well as for the balance of plant.
The work also includes valve engineering, project management, site start-up and commissioning support.
Emerson said that the valves will help SEC maintain accurate control performance in demanding applications such as feedwater recirculation and steam control.
