Owned by Drift Sand Wind Project, the wind farm would see an investment of around $180m. This investment forms a part of the company’s current business plan.
Expected to become operational by the end of this year, the wind farm is anticipated to generate close to 480GWh of clean electricity annually which will be enough to power more than 39,000 homes in the country.
The project is being backed by the company’s own resources and all of the power and renewable energy credits from Drift Sand will be sold under a bundled, long-term power purchase agreement.

The company has recently bought a 78.6% stake in Erdwärme Oberland from Erdwärme Bayern, marking its first foray into the German clean energy market.
This deal would lead to the development of a 26MW geothermal project in Southern Germany.
