The wind facility consists of 33 turbines with a capacity of 0.85MW each and will generate 50 million KWh of energy annually after it becomes fully operational.

With the addition of the Bagaladi Motta Montebello wind farm, Enel Green Power will now have a 700MW of wind installed capacity.

The company, a subsidiary of the Enel Group, generated about 25 billion kWh in 2012 from water, sun, wind and the Earth’s heat – enough to power about 10 million households while reducing 18 million tons of CO2 emissions.

Currently, Enel Green Power has over 700 operational plants in 16 countries in Europe and the Americas.
