The wind power project includes five wind turbines of 2MW each and is located in the Aube department, near the town of Nogent-sur-Seine, Champagne Ardenne region.
The project will produce over 23 million kWh per year of zero emission power, enough to meet the energy needs of about 7,000 households.
The company said power produced by the wind farm will cut down 18,000 tonnes of CO2emissions .
Currently, the the company operates a total installed capacity of 148MW and has an additional 18MW of wind capacity under construction which will enter into operation during this year.
