With the addition of another 40MW, the Salbatica I wind power project has a total installed capacity of 70MW.
An initial 30MW capacity was connected to the grid in December last year.
The Salbatica wind farm, which consists of 35 units of 2MW wind turbine,is located near Tulcea.
The estimated annual output of the entire plant is around 200 million kWh, enough to meet the needs of 66,000 households and avoid the emission of about 140,000 metric tons of CO2 per year.
