As reported, Beckett & LaRue is primarily known for its engineering and design of transmission and distribution (T&D) systems. The company will become part of Enercon’s power generation services (PGS) group.

Carter Noland, Enercon’s vice president of PGS, said: “Beckett & LaRue is a strategic fit to Enercon’s long range plan for diversified growth in the electric power industry. They bring power distribution and delivery expertise that complements the power generation services currently provided by our PGS division.

“The initiatives that the country is pursuing to realign the sources of power generation will require extensive design for new transmission and distribution, as well as upgrades to existing power grids.
