The increase in plant capacity is scheduled for completion in early 2013, and will include ERI’s newest and most advanced line of products (PX-Q series) to be delivered in this year.

Upon completion, the newly expanded plant will deliver an extra 150,000 cubic meters per day of water to reach a total capacity of 300,000 cubic meters per day.

Energy Recovery CEO Tom Rooney said with a guaranteed uptime of 99.8% and a design life of 25 years, the PX devices will surely be critical to providing essential fresh water supplies for years to come.

Energy Recovery is engaged in the design and development of energy recovery devices for desalination and other industrial processes.
