The Maybell project covers a total area of 4,740 ha, consisting of 586 lode claims and is located about 40km west of the town of Craig.

The drilling will provide an indicative test in several areas where uranium mineralisation is known to occur close to surface and where previous drilling is known to have been completed previously.

The diamond drilling is expected to maximise the geological information that can be obtained from the work programme and to ensure that downhole geophysical probes can be run in the holes.

Uranium mineralisation in the Maybell district occurs as near-surface zones hosted in structures and tuffaceous sandstones of the Miocene age Brown’s Park Formation.
