Through the master services agreement, EnerNOC will partner with building construction stakeholders to ensure that the City of San Francisco’s new buildings operate efficiently and to the owners’ specifications.

The first project is San Francisco’s new Public Safety Building, a 300,000sq ft LEED Gold facility set to open in 2014.

The contract also includes potential task orders for additional projects to which EnerNOC will contribute its energy efficiency services in the coming years.

SFPUC program manager Masoud Vafaei said, "The Public Utilities Commission is assisting all San Francisco City Departments in building facilities that will benefit the city for years to come. That’s why efficient and innovative building design is an essential part of our long-term development plan."

As Commissioning Authority for the SFPUC, EnerNOC will provide documented confirmation that building systems function according to criteria set forth in the project documents.
