The company has designed ruggedized sensor and compact sensor to optimise energy efficiency and workplace productivity.
The ruggedized sensor is designed to use in outdoor applications, parking structures, damp and wet locations and other areas, which require an IP65 rated sensor.
The company said that the compact sensor’s small form factor and flush mount design enables the sensor to blend into its surroundings.
Both sensors are suitable for retrofit projects or for OEM’s looking to extend the intelligence and capabilities of lighting products, according to the firm.
Enlighted products and technology senior vice president Rich Green said the new products expand the deployment options and reach of firm’s systems, which further increases the overall value of sensor networks.
"Despite the opportunities provided by high bandwidth data networks, low cost sensors and Big Data software, environmental-related building systems remain mostly dependent on 30-year-old technologies," Green added.
