Telvent’s latest technology will provide Entegrus with data storage, management and analysis solution, which would complement the company’s advanced metering infrastructure (AMI).

Conductor MDM will also help strengthen the firm’s smart grid operations by improving processes including meter data validation, estimation and editing and a shorter meter-to-cash cycle.

Entegrus Powerlines president Dan Charron remarked about expanding expanding relationship with their Canadian partner Telvent by integrating the Conductor MDM into the existing Telvent suite.

"This project is strategic to our on-going smart grid initiatives to provide more intelligent service to our customers," Charron added.

The new technology offers full integration with all other smart grid systems, allowing Entegrus to capitalize its AMI data in order to achieve efficiencies and provide better service.

Telvent chairman and CEO Ignacio Gonzalez commented, "We are pleased to continue a long and productive relationship with Entegrus by supporting its developing smart grid initiatives. Our technologies are continuing to drive industry innovation and promote the development of smarter and more efficient energy delivery throughout the world."
