Revenue for the quarter increased to $5.7 billion from $3.3 billion for the first quarter in 2007. Gross operating margin increased 61% to $522 million for the quarter from $324 million for the same quarter in 2007.
Operating income was $367 million for the first quarter of 2008, a 95% increase over $188 million for the same quarter of 2007. EBITDA for the first quarter of 2008 was $491 million, a 61% increase compared to $305 million for the same period of 2007.
