Under the terms of the purchase agreement, a Cielo affiliate will sell the development assets to enXco for the proposed wind project.

Wanzek Construction will build the Spinning Spur wind power project that will cover 28,426 acres in Oldham County.

The power project consists of 70 units of Siemens 2.3MW turbine, and the construction is expected to commence in June 2012 with operational date of December 2012.

Under the previously executed power purchase agreement, Southwestern Public Service Company, a subsidiary of Xcel Energy, will buy the electricity generated by the wind project.

Cielo chairman and president Walter Hornaday said Spinning Spur will deliver long term pollution free wind energy to Southwestern Public Service Company and trigger significant economic development through the creation of both Texas and New Mexico based construction jobs.

enXco develops, constructs, owns, operates and manages renewable energy projects throughout the US.
