The eSight energy management software will enable Airbus, which operates across 15 sites in 4 European countries, to bring together all their energy analysis and reporting needs under one application accessible from anywhere worldwide.

eSight, which offers a range of techniques for analysing energy usage and targeting specific areas for reductions, facilitates centralised data collection to help Airbus focus on energy and other utility costs company-wide in line with environmental and budgetary targets.

eSight will provide Airbus with the ability to monitor energy usage across its facilities in order to meet its environmental management goals of energy consumption reduction of 30% and carbon emission reduction of 50% (compared to 2006).

eSight Energy managing director Simon Durrant said the company is delighted to have been successful in its submission to Airbus and in the fact that eSight has been selected as their energy management tool.

“eSight’s Web-based access along with its multi-lingual capability and comprehensive set of analysis techniques meant it was a perfect solution for Airbus’s requirements,” Durrant said.
