The company said that the work is also ongoing to prepare the second unit at Salaya I for synchronisation with the grid.
The 1,200MW Salaya I coal-fired power project is one of the company’s three plants due to be fully commissioned by March next year.
The other two plants are the 1,200MW Mahan I project and the 510MW Vadinar P2 project, and the three power projects will together take Essar Energy’s total installed capacity to 4,510MW.
