Essar Energy CEO Naresh Nayyar said the plan encompasses identification of operational cost savings, productivity improvements and opportunities to utilise a heavier crude slate and improve the product mix.
The Stanlow refinery the second largest refinery in UK and is located near Ellesmere Port in the North-West of England.
It operates at approximately 210,000 bpd or 70% of the capacity and supplies about one-sixth of the UK’s petrol and also produces diesel and aircraft fuel, reports Business Standard.
