The first order, from Africa, will require Essar to construct offshore line pipe applications of 4000mt which be utilized in a Chevron project.
The company to fulfill its Middle Eastern order will manufacture high grade coated pipes of 45000mt and 48 and deliver the products in the final quarter of the year.
Essar Steel India MD & CEO Dilip Oommen said the company aims to cater steel to its global and local customers.
"To cater to the wide range of pipe products manufactured through various routes, our Pipe mill has full-fledged facilities for inspection and testing to ensure production of high quality pipes including sour service."
The company’s order book of the pipe mill including the two orders is standing at about INR10bn ($179.7m).
