The US Military through Tank Automotive Research Development Engineering Center has set a precedent relating to adoption of alternative energy units, and EVCA intends to meet this new demand through contracting and sourcing of units suitable for government RFPs
EVCA, which has been working on electric vehicle trial projects with the US Federal Government since first quarter of 2010, will leverage its knowledge in respect to sourcing specific AEV and Hybrid units for the US Military.
EVCA expects the initial development of units to be ready to enter into testing phase by late 2010 with the ‘Real World’ government testing anticipated for early 2011.
EVCA CEO Scott O’Neal said that the company believes that working in conjunction with its corporate sales and commercial fleet division, the addition of a high revenue entity aimed at military contracting is a significant move for EVCA and the corporate vision.
