The company has refuelled and installed two new steam generators at the plant.
The outage, which began on February 1, 2014, included exchange fuel assemblies, various safety inspections and preventative maintenance activities of components throughout the plant.
Presently, the plant is operating at 20% power capacity and is expected to reach full power within the next week.
FENOC said that the new steam generators installed during the outage are expected to enhance safe and reliable long-term operation of Davis-Besse.
Meanwhile, the steam generators operate as heat exchangers, producing the steam that is used to drive the turbine generator for producing electricity.
Each generator measuring 74ft in length, 12ft in diameter and weighs 470 tons.
Davis-Besse nuclear power station site vice president Ray Lieb said, "Installation of the steam generators will help us meet our long-term objective of remaining a safe, reliable source of electricity while providing high-paying jobs and tax revenues that support the economic health of Northwest Ohio,"
