The National Development Co of the Philippines and PNOC Renewables Corp are to develop a 1MW hydropower plant at the National Irrigation Administration’s (NIA) existing facility in Rizal, Nueva Ecija.
According to local media, construction on the project is expected to begin next month. The project will be located at NIA’s Pampanga River Irrigation System Main Canal, downstream from the Rizal Diversion Dam.
