The company said that a notice temporarily suspending operations in the underground workplaces at the mine has been lifted.

The Department of Mineral Resources issued the notice pursuant to section 54 of the Mine Health and Safety Act (South Africa) on 14 November 2011 following a fall of ground.

The Ezulwini mine in the Gauteng Province is an underground mine constructed in the 1960s with historical production of about 14 million pounds of uranium and 12 million ounces of gold until it was put on care-and maintenance in 2001.
