First LA Limo in Los Angeles, which is already in discussion with several car makers for the development of the electric limos, has made this decision to switch to electric limousines primarily to cope with the escalating gasoline prices.

Additionally, through this switch, the company hopes to pass on to its customers other advantages of using EVs, which are claimed to be low maintenance, have fewer moving parts and are less prone to breakdowns, further driving down the car maintenance and administration costs.

First LA Limo in Los Angeles founder Bobby Rezapour said that company realized that a great way to control costs was to take advantage of the new EVs that are becoming a reality today.

“Headlines have been buzzing about the Chevy Volt, the Telsa Roadster, the Nissan Leaf, the Coda Sedan, and other all-EVs. Since we regularly acquire new vehicles to ensure our fleet is in top shape, it makes perfect sense to start purchasing EVs,” Rezapour said.
