Results follow the announcement of discovery hole PLS12-022 earlier in November 2012 at the property, which hosts 6.0m interval of high grade mineralization.
Current results include strong mineralization in a 3.0m wide interval as well as intermittent intervals totaling 2.14m of off-scale (>9999 cps) radioactivity in hole PLS12-024.
Fission President, COO and chief geologist Ross McElroy remarked that the results from hole PLS12-024 signifies the area’s potential to host a significant and shallow high grade deposit.
"That we now have results of robust mineralization from multiple holes, is extremely encouraging," McElroy said.
Fission operates the 31,039ha Patterson Lake South project as part of a 50-50 joint venture with Alpha Minerals.
