The hole PLS14-186 on line 765E returned high-grade uranium mineralization such as 23.41% U3O8 over 7m in an interval of 12.35% U3O8 over 13.5m, the company said. All nine holes returned wide intervals of mineralization.
Fission president, COO, and chief geologist Ross McElroy said: "We continue to see the hallmarks of both width and strength at shallow depth from this well-mineralized region of the eastern side of the R780E."
Mineralization at PLS has been identified by core drilling over 2.24km of east-west strike length in five separate mineralized zones from line 615W to 1620E, and it remains open along strike both to the western and eastern extents.
