The five-year contract includes provisions for two additional five-year extensions. The agreement also includes an immediate call-off to perform an engineering study related to equipment and services to support the Jordbaer field, located in the Norwegian North Sea.
Tore Halvorsen, senior vice president of global subsea production systems at FMC Technologies, said: “We are pleased to enter this long-term frame agreement with BG Norge. We look forward to supporting BG Norge’s needs for the Jordbaer field and with future offshore projects.”
FMC Technologies manufactures systems and products such as subsea production and processing systems, surface wellhead systems, high pressure fluid control equipment, measurement systems, and marine loading systems for the oil and gas industry.
