The discussions are in regard to a joint venture development project in southeast Kansas, which includes a 2,000-acre field that has multiple production zones both for oil and gas.
Force Fuels said final contract details are expected to be completed by the end of 2011 and will fit well into the company’s 2012 growth plans.
Force Fuels president and CEO Tom Hemingway said in the past few months, the company has completed its geological and drilling plans and prepared to start drilling new wells.
"Moving forward with our plans and adding this much land to our portfolio of oil and gas rich properties, we can continue to buy and sell properties while drilling new wells," Hemingway said.
