The well was drilled within the financial and time parameters scheduled before the spud and encountered the flank of a Gays River reef, a shaley dolomite, lying on a Meguma basement high.

Forent used seismic and gravity gradiometry interpretation for the well drilling, which identified several significant natural gas kicks.

Drilling also indicated an active petroleum system and confirming that there are natural gas liquids or light oil associated with the natural gas.

The logs indicated minimal porosity and permeability near the well bore and the company does not anticipate production from this well, though future wells drilled into the same reef may be productive.

The company expects to continue its exploration program in the next three to four weeks, once the seasonal road bans are removed.
