Frontier said that the JV will provide it with a team of expertise and experience in all the major facets of the industry – geology, engineering, land, finance and project management. In addition, a number of first class prospects in three western states of US are to be developed by the Frontier joint venture, the company said.
The Black Forest prospect, featured in previous announcements, has been blanketed with approximately 36,000 acres of federal, state and fee leases, and the terms of the JV increase Frontier’s working interest in this prospect from 25% to 75%.
