The first order placed by an existing customer requires the company to provide ULTRA systems for two medium-sized coal-fired units that are being retrofitted with nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction technology.
As per the second order, placed by a new customer, Fuel Tech will provide ULTRA systems for two coal-fired units being retrofitted with NOx control technology.
Equipment deliveries for the projects are expected to occur in the second half of 2012.
