The company executed a 20km exploration program of line cutting and magnetometer – VLF survey at the site and further strengthened the Ontario Geological Survey (OGS) report regarding the presence of graphite mineralization on the property.
Galaxy president Chris Healey said, "This program has now confirmed what the OGS reported in 1987, that this property contains a significant zone of high grade graphite mineralization."
The assay results of the samples collected from the exploration program have indicated graphite mineralization grades between 3% and 22%.
Acme Metallurgical conducted the analytical work where as the geophysical work was carried out by Meegwich Consultants, a contractor, and the Galaxy’s staff.
