The wind farm equipped with 51 of Gamesa’s G87-2.0MW turbines holds a two-year maintenance service deal.

Power generated will be sold to Empresa Nacional de Energía Eléctrica for a period of 20 years.

Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy is the owner of the site operating through its local subsidiary Energía Eólica de Honduras.

Furthermore, the project received funds from the Export-Import Bank of the US and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration.
