The two wind farms are the the 8MW Aussac facility in Region Poitou-Charentes and the 8MW Belrain facility in Region Lorraine.

The facilities, which are currently in operation, are each equipped with four units of Gamesa G90 wind turbine.

The Spanish firm’s wind farm development and sales division developed and built these wind energy projects.

Gamesa first landed in France in 2000, and it has since brought 114MW of generating capacity online in this country and has a project portfolio of 800MW at varying stages of development.
