Under the terms of the deal, Gamesa will manage, in coordination with EREN’s local team, the construction of both wind farms, located in the region of Sterea Ellada.

Gamesa will install nine of its G87-2.0MW turbines and 11 of the G97-2.0MW at the 40MW Ptoon wind farm as well as 21 of its G87-2.0 MW turbines at the 42MW Maristi wind farm.

Additionally, the company will provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a period of ten years for the facility.

Gamesa will also be responsible for the construction of the infrastructure including an electric substation at each development, required to operate the facility.

The two wind farms are scheduled for completion by the end of next year.

EREN owns more than 150 MWs of Renewable energy capacity in operation or under construction, including the Ptoon and Maristi wind farms in Greece.
