The company will supply a total of 129 wind turbines over the next two years, specifically its G8X turbine model, which features 2MW of unit capacity.

It will also transport and erect the turbines and perform start-up and maintenance work over the two-year period.

Last month, Iberdrola Renovables, in consortium with Brazilian energy holding company Neoenergia and Iberdrola investee, won a contract worth approximately €60m from Brazil’s electric energy agency Aneel to build the nine wind farms with a total generating capacity of 258MW.
