The Banatski Dvor facility is one of the largest underground gas storage facilities in Southeastern Europe.
The facility’s working gas volume makes up 450 million cubic meters with maximum deliverability upto 5 million cubic meters per day.
The new project in particular will create about 2,200 jobs and attract up to €1.5bn of direct investments.
The UGS facility enhances the security of Russian gas export to Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
