Cofathec Coriance operates a total of 23 heating networks in France, with a total length of 125km. It serves more than 100,000 housing units and operates 14 cogeneration power stations, providing a total capacity of 80MWe.
In 2007, it posted net sales of E63 million with the production of 670 million kWh of heat and 250 million kWh of electricity.
The transaction is scheduled to be completed by the end of April 2008. It will allow Gaz de France to fulfill one of the commitments made by it to the European Commission, within the framework of its merger plans with Suez.
